Balqis Tajalli is a print-maker specialising in botanical imprints through an alternative photographic process called cyanotype. Currently based in Langkawi, Kedah, she spends her time observing and studying the wild gardens in her village.
My Neighbour, the Weeds
My Neighbour, The Weeds is a plant portrait of various invasive weeds found in the locality of my neighbourhood. It is a personal journey to fall back into Nature and learn lessons of resilience and beauty of the ordinary, in abundance and isolation.
